Battle of Britain

The Battle of Britain collection commemorates the famous period in the summer of 1940 when we had to defend ourselves from the onslaught of German aggression and to save us from invasion. The pieces represent the accepted six phases of the conflict from the development of Radar by Watson Watt and his team, through to the Blitz on London and other cities across the country.

The collection was exhibited in the Crypt of Saint Paul’s Cathedral in 2010 for the 70th anniversary Service of Remembrance of the Great Battle.
