Doubles

Doubling photographic images has always intrigued me, they take on a new enigmatic feeling and identity. Sideways doubles made from stitching a portrait shape image together are particularly rare  to find. I discovered the stones stuck in the Beach Groynes on a walk I made one day visiting my Mum and Dad who at the time lived in Birchington on Sea in Kent. They were on the coast about halfway between Minnis Bay and Reculver Towers. I went back a few weeks later to see if I could get some more photos but they had gone! The local Council had dumped huge boulders on top of them to create a breakwater. I had recorded the just in time.
