Sometimes a painting does not fit easily into any series or collection, it stands alone on it’s own two feet and these are some examples

The Plane with No Name

Modern Drones remind me of my Dad’s model aircraft from my childhood. They represent a challenge to authorities across the world for their ability to be produced relatively cheaply and be used to good effect by hostile forces. In “The Plane with No Name” I have used one of my Dad’s old models packed with high explosives on its way inbound to attack one of our Strongholds of the Realm, Dover Castle.

The ENOLA GAY

On the 6th August 1945 a Boeing B-29 Superfortress dropped an Atomic Bomb on the city of Hiroshima in Japan. A few days later a second Atom bomb was dropped on the city of Nagasaki. This ended the Second World War. The aircraft that dropped the first bomb was piloted by Colonel Paul Tibbets and his plane was named after his Mother, Enola Gay.
