Travelling Light Collection

I started travelling independently when I left home and went to Art College. Hitchhiking was popular then in the late 60's and early 70's and having no money as usual I stuck my thumb out and before you new it you were in Amsterdam or Hamburg or Athens or somewhere else.

I made this Travelling Light Collection at Braintris House studio at the end of the 1980,s and they refer specifically to a) the year 1983 spent in Nepal, India, Sri Lanka and Thailand and b) 1987 6 months in Equador, Peru and Costa Rica.

They are Monoprints off a glass surface containing Ephemera and Imagery collected from the time
